Curiosity and excitement filled the halls of Harford Tech last Wednesday, November 5th, as many prospective students and their families attended our open house to explore the many technical areas, extracurricular and academic opportunities Tech offers.
Starting at 6pm, the open house kicked off with all technical areas presenting information about their programs. While that was going on, club sponsors displayed their organizations/clubs through the gallery. Attendees had the chance to speak with current students, faculty and staff, and club advisors to get firsthand insight into our school environment!
A major highlight of the evening for many students and families was the opportunity to see, question, and explore our school’s various technical and career areas. Each classroom was alive with activity, offering interactive demonstrations and detailed information on each field.
The gymnasium featured all our Tech areas with creative, fun displays with current tech students eager to share information about their programs. Here’s a few happy faces and cool displays!
Beyond the technical areas, the gallery, which showcased our clubs, provided an opportunity for potential future students to see what’s available, talk to members involved, and ask questions. Take a look at a couple of club displays!
Harford Tech’s open house was a resounding success, offering a glimpse into the diverse interests and career opportunities which will direct every student onto a path of achievement. We eagerly anticipate welcoming students and their families back for next year’s open house!
