Early in the day on January 17th, Harford Tech held it’s winter Pep-Rally, where several sports and Tech groups alike walked and displayed their teams around the gym. The Tech students had a chance to show their Tech Area spirit, by organizing a group look with their class; while some had matching t-shirts, others wore wigs or the gear they would usually wear during their class.
From relay races to dance-offs to a spectacular sing-along done by several of the teachers (see image above), everyone had a blast as teachers and students alike showed their tech spirit!
While things did start off a little rocky when the microphones kept on going in and out, things picked back up when the different group-race commenced along with the awesome soundtrack that played during the entire rally. While this is the first winter pep-rally Harford Tech has had, it was definitely one to remember!

Our pep-rally started off with several of the teachers singing “Roar” by Katy Perry, getting a humongous applause from students and teachers alike. The pep-rally transitioned from the marching band playing while the sports teams walked around the gym, to a relay-race where the teams had to hit a balloon while being tied to their teammate, then to a race where the teams had to dawn swim shorts, pool floaties, and goggles, while scooting across the gym floor and back to the finish line, then to a hoop-shooting race against multiple players, then to a sumo-wrestling match between three students, where it then concluded.
This is definitely a pep-rally for the history books, and we doubt that anyone will forget it soon!
